About the Publisher


So Scott and I are moving along with our plans to publish stories and books via the Internet. We are really excited to bring fun and imaginative stories to life.

I’m Chris Pauley, Scott’s friend from college, skiing buddy, adventure hound, brother in faith and now partner in publishing. I gotta say, wow! This is going to be cool. I’m the technical/marketing person for the Scott Tales project. I’ve been coding, building LANs and PCs, publishing websites among other geeky things for quiet awhile in my career and now with my company, Solebury Internet Marketing.

I have also been expanding my skill-set into the creative side for the last 5 years by learning Adobe’s creative tools. I love Indesign and I will be using that in our publishing workflow. I am also an aspiring portrait photographer.

Book clubs are almost entirely direct-to-retail, and niche publishers pursue a mixed strategy to sell through all available outlets — their output is insignificant to the major booksellers, so lost revenue poses no threat to the traditional symbiotic relationships between the four activities of printing, publishing, distribution and retail.
